Basketball Camp for Girls

Bishop Canevin High School will sponsor a Lady Crusaders Girls Basketball Camp from 9 a.m.-noon, Tuesday, July 27, through Friday, July 30, at the high school campus, located at 2700 Morange Road in Pittsburgh’s Oakwood neighborhood. Polish Day

The Polish Cultural Council will celebrate Polish Day at Kennywood Amusement Park in West Mifflin on Tuesday, Aug. 3, beginning at noon. Bishop David Zubik, along with the Fraternity of Polish Priests, will celebrate Mass at 3 p.m., accompanied by the Karuzela Chorus. Bagna Calda Contest

Work of human hands sale

St. Valentine Parish in Bethel Park will sponsor a fair trade Work of Human Hands sale on Saturday, Aug. 14, from 9 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sunday, Aug. 15, from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Handmade items for sale include scarves, baskets, pottery, jewelry and more, as well as fair trade coffee, chocolate and tea. Magnificat, a ministry for women, will host a prayer breakfast on Saturday, Aug. 21, from 9 a.m.-noon, at the Sheraton Four Points in Cranberry Township. Living in Love
