COME TO ME

“Come to Me” is the theme of the next festival of praise at St. Albert the Great Church of Holy Apostles Parish in Baldwin on Saturday, Jan. 12, from 7-8:30 p.m. Public is invited to come and worship. RESPECT LIFE

Friday, Jan. 18, is Respect Life Day at SS. Simon and Jude Parish in Scott Township. Celebration will include a Respect Life Mass at noon, followed by rosary for life at 1 p.m., and witness walk and Eucharistic adoration at 1:30 p.m. 

SILENT RETREAT

High school-age men are invited to give God the chance to speak directly to their heart at a silent retreat Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 9-10, at Martina Spiritual Renewal Center in West View. SEMINAR

Those suffering the loss of a spouse through separation, divorce or death are invited to a seminar sponsored by The Beginning Experience Pittsburgh Lay Apostolate on Saturday, Feb. 2, 8:45 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Life Center of SS. Simon and Jude Parish in Scott Township. Seminar will focus on topics such as grief process, changes in family and relationships, trust and coping with memories. Cost is $20, and includes lunch. OVERWHELMED

TO FULFILLED

“Going from Overwhelmed to Fulfilled” is the title of talk to be presented by Mark Joseph in the LeGras Parish Center of St. Louise de Marillac Parish in Upper St. Clair on Tuesday, Jan. 29, starting at 7:30 p.m. Joseph is a former parishioner of St. Louise who is coming back to share his message of God’s transforming love and mercy. Talk is free and open to the public.
