Saint Joseph High School Students Participate in Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair


Students participated in the Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair on  April 1-2.


Students were awarded the following:


Medicine / Health/ Microbiology – Senior Division - Fourth Place ($25) and Point Park University ($5,000/year); Isabelle Schroeder


Biology – Senior Division – Third Place ($75), Waynesburg University Science Achievement Scholarship ($8,000), and Duquesne University, Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Science Award ($50 and medal); Caroline Maltese


Allegheny College Trustee Scholarship (min. annual amount -$14,000), Chatham University ($8,000), and St. Francis University Science Fair Scholarship ($4,000); Sophia Maltese


Carlow University Whalen Scholarship ($20,000); Sophia Maltese, Alexis Shirley


Clarion University High Achiever Scholarship ($8,000 - $28,000) and Mount Aloysius College Science Fair Scholarship ($10,000); Calley Neelan

Isabelle Schroeder '17, Tarentum PA, is the daughter of Edward & Maryellen Schroeder.  They attend Mt. St. Peter Parish.


Caroline Maltese '17 & Sophia Maltese '17, Cheswick PA, are the daughters of Don & Jennifer Maltese.  They attend St. Victor's Parish.


Alexis Shirley '17, New Kensington PA is the daughter of Roxanne Shirley.  They attend St. Joseph Parish.


Calley Neelan '18, Glenshaw PA is the daughter of Matthew & Tresa Neelan.  They attend St. Bonaventure Parish.


Samantha Alden '18, Freeport PA, is the daughter of Robert and Lisa Alden.


Alyssa Snyder '17, New Kensington, is the daughter of Kevin & Sherri Snyder.  They attend Mt. St. Peter Parish.


Alexandra Loperfito '16, Vandergrift PA, is the daughter of Larry & Carrie Loperfito.  They attend St. Gertrude Parish.


Julianna Nichols '17, Pittsburgh PA, is the daughter of Marie Nichols.  They attend St. Bartholomew Parish.


Holly Wolfe '16, Sarver PA, is the daughter of Barry & Julie Wolfe.  They attend Holy Sepulcher Parish.
