Divorced Catholics and others who are interested in learning about the annulment process are welcome to attend a free workshop with Jay Conzemius, judge and moderator of the Diocesan Tribunal.

He will speak at four parish halls: March 21, Immaculate Conception in Washington; March 23, St. Kilian in Adams/Cranberry townships; March 28, St. Paul Cathedral in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood; and April 5, St. Bernadette in Monroeville. The presentations will be at 7 p.m. All are welcome.

Topics will include: theology of marriage; ministry of the tribunal; marriage annulment types; Pope Francis’ changes to marriage law; the no-fee process in the Diocese of Pittsburgh; why, when and how to start the petition for annulment; and an overview of the annulment process. Afterward participants can ask questions and/or start the process.

No reservations are required, but those planning to attend are asked to e-mail AnnulmentsIntake@diopitt.org or call 412-456-3033 so seating arrangements can be made.
