WASHINGTON (CNS) — Bishop David Zubik of Pittsburgh was the homilist at a Jan. 22 Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, preparing Mass-goers to rally for the annual March for Life.
Though most of the groups from southwestern Pennsylvania that had planned to participate in the march had to cancel because of hazardous weather conditions arriving Friday evening, many die-hard pro-life Catholics still made the trip from all over the nation.
One such hearty group, which will be featured in next week's Pittsburgh Catholic newspaper, is from St. Patrick Parish in Canonsburg. Look for our extensive coverage in the Jan. 29 issue.
